Would u rent a apartment to someone if they told you that they could only give you the security after moving in, sometime in the first month of living there?

No I would not
I would maybe allow them to pay the first months rent after they move in. But the fact that they are already having financial issues would scare me and think they might not be able to make payments on time throughout the lease

I've only been a tenant but if I were a landlord I would not rent to them at all. Not so much because of the deposit, but because of what it shows about them. If they're already asking to delay payments before they even move in that would be a red flag to me
