My son’s beis Medrash is recommending that we pull him out of his current yeshiva and send him to TJ.
One, I’m not at all sure he’s mature enough to handle EY. He’s not AT ALL into drinking or drugs.
He’s normal frum, wants to always be frum. He’s just not connected or invested in daily frum life-davening and learning. He has ADHD, on low dose meds.
I hear that TJ is for boys really struggling in life. Particularly in drinking and drugs
If anyone can help me out on what kind of boys go to TJ and how they turn out, I would greatly appreciate it.

Im not sure thats accurate.
I have relative who was thrown out of TJ because of drugs.
There is drinking and the boys are not overly frum, many are not shomer shabbos.
maybe he would be better in Aish or Ohr Sameach.
