Hi!
Can anyone please guide me what you recommend.
I have a winter coat for my baby and currently cover his legs with a blanket that I have to worry about falling.
What do I for his hands and legs in real winter cold?
For reference he's 12 months , have an UPPAbaby Cruz so need something compatible with that.
If you get a footmuff that covers whole body then don't they get too warm with wearing a coat? And if you take them out outside from the footmuff then they need to already be dressed.
First winter with kid this age so advice appreciated

I have and love the 7am so warm no need for coats and if baby falls asleep bring them in and just unzip the whole thing. And they stay sleeping. If its very very cold I will throw a blanket inside and put on a hat. If baby pulls hands out I would also put on mittens.
Eta I also have the cruz if fits perfectly
And I bought one 50% off last year black friday

I either don’t zip the muff so far up (gloves for their hands) or a lighter jacket under (especially when the goal is to put them to sleep and I’ll bringing the stroller inside to continue the nap)

Thank you! Can you tell me which you have? Looks like they zip all the way up? Or you can just zip till you want?
How do you dress then, do they never come out of stroller when outside? Bc then I'd think need to be dressed warmer..

For that age I got a snowsuit for to and from car, he outgrew doona and I wasn’t carrying the car seat inside.
For stroller, why can’t you get a footmuff? You don’t bring your stroller inside?

Thank you! Helpful to hear
No car so it's walking everywhere
So ppl put on a sweater or a spring jacket?
Most of the time probably yes, the stroller goes inside.
Trying to think if I'd ever need him to be out of the stroller when outside but I guess that wouldn't be the case if it's that cold out

For winter, I love my 7am! I have the warmest one, since I live in Canada.
I bought the expandable one; it has zippered add on extensions for toddlers as they grow.

In NY at that age my babies wear a coat (and hat) and the JJ cole stroller footmuff. It’s perfect. Cozy but not so thick that they swear. Mom friends have told me their babies often sweat in the 7am (with no coat) plus if you go to the playground or whatever it’s easy transition

Did you mention location?
Nyc I put coat and hat on baby . In foot muffins. Depending on how cold it is teach child to tuck hands in muffins when outside. For most days that perfect the footmuffs are very warm.. if its freezing freezing like near zero I would put extra layer on.. full snow suit or blanket inside.. most days though taking child out of carriage for a few minutes with coat and hat let's say quick park time willbe fine
