Please talk to a professional. There are people who deal with these issues all day.
Unfortunately this is just a very temporary expensive solution and not the real answer to your and his issues.
And what’s the plan after?

Most people don’t look for a bootcamp type place just for learning issues. Just saying.

Some learning, some adhd, behavioral issues @home ( that stem from mental health ) & not fully OTD, but doesn’t care about being frum

I called doresh around 10 years ago for a relative and the director was very adamant they dont take behavioral issues.

Call kesher nafshi and ask them for the number of someone who can help with school placement
Also call rabbi Strauss (Lakewood) who can tell you right away which option would be the best for your son
Call the experts. They can guide you.
You should not be dealing with this alone.
(They recommended Englewood for my son. It was good for a few years…)

Probably Shaarei Arazim. Pretty sure they (and Doresh for that matter) are primarily for learning and not behavioral issues. Neither of them are "bootcamp" style to my knowledge.

There's a student there now, much higher functioning than my kid, but yes, behavioral. I thought the school was DESIGNED to help with behaviors related to ASD and ADHD and the like?
My kiddo is probably the most behavioral in our OOT city amongst frum high school boys. EVERYONE says he should go to doresh. I don't think it's the right fit for him, but as soon as anyone hears my kid has behaviors, they want him shipped off to doresh.
