Am I crazy to think it’s risky to test the makeup at Sephora? Can you get an Std like herpes or something?

No you're not crazy, though I wouldn't be worried about STDs.

I'll touch products to get a feel and maybe put them on the back of my hand.

I'll try on foundation if it has a pump.

Definitely do not put on eye or lip makeup.

They usually have one of each product set aside specifically to try on before purchasing

Many girls have complained people come to put on make up, some daily, and they hate it. I said what if they end up buying? They said even... 🤯

Huh that's so interesting. I do hear where they'd get annoyed if someone comes daily to put on makeup with the sample pieces. But regular once in a while customers? that's what it's there for

You test makeup on the back of your hand. You cannot get an STD.
If I want to test a lipstick I wipe the lipstick with a sanitizing wipe first, then test on my hand. This is what the Sephora employees do as well when they give you a makeover.

Don't ever try mascara. That's asking for an eye infection.

Sephora accepts returns so why not just buy the item and of it doesn't work, return it.
