My friend's daughter is looking to be a speech therapist in Eretz Yisroel.
Are there any online American courses she can do?

There’s a few online speech programs but I’m not sure how it would work with the clinical placements being out of country. Some online speech programs are nova southeastern, Baylor university, Emerson college

TTI has a program in Israel. I think it’s in person maybe some online classes and lots of online work between classes. The sticking point will be the clinical aka “CFY” it is very very hard , but not impossible , to find placement in Israel . The next hurdle ,
After clinical and then taking the test and getting her license be finding a job with a “foreign “ ie not Israeli degree, in Israel. She would probably be limited to private paying clients , or work virtually ,
for an agency or school out of Israel -
Which means In a different time zone . She should discuss all of this with a TTI representative before enrolling and if possible speak to someone who did the program in Israel (p.s. it Also may be hard to get accepted )

Yes it probably won't be recognized in Israel.
It's considered as one of the hardest studies existing in frum circles in Israel, but it does exist for only girls in Hadassa Hospital in Jerusalem (Machon Strauss).
I understand the girl doesn't want to get that degree either because it's not socially accepted in Israel, or because it's so hard to get enroled and to succeed.
It's however the best way to do it. Israeli people anyway need frum speech therapists, and from what I've heard, Machon Strauss is pretty frum and does fit to a classical Israeli girl.
