My son has a pair that we bought in Israel. It’s the only pair he will wear. I tried to find kids tzitzis - size 5 or 6 here but I can only find regular/thin strings. I definitely could find thick strings in adult sizes but not in children’s sizes. Anyone know if there’s a store that sells?

You can call torah treasures.
They make tzitzis so they may have diff size strings.

Can’t you just cut te string with a stone scissors. A lot of stores have them.
You want to buy the tzitzis ready made or just the strings to make yourself.
Ppl sell expensive string from israel buy I can’t imagine that is what you mean bec it is $$$$ just for the strings.

I’m so surprised those stores don’t sell thick strings.
Why does it make a difference kids vs adults?

This is something easily available in men’s sizes but for some reason it’s not something that kids are wearing. The pair that we have was bought in Israel so I guess it’s something Israelis might want.
I’m not sure why but for some reason my son will only wear this pair… something about the strings… he really needs a new pair of tzitzis asap

So this is what is confusing.
When say strings you mean ready made tzitzis?
Or just the strings to make tzitzis.?
Can’t you buy the beged without tzitzis. Buy thick strings. Get a man to Tie them on. Cut to size with stone.

What do you mean by stone? Are you not supposed to cut tzitzis with a regular scissor?

No. You are not supposed to cut with metal.
Some ppl bite the ends or use a stone scissor.
