I am feeling really quilty doing this

my older kids were lucky to stay home with me till 18 months
but due to circumstances of needing to take a job I will be doing this
help me alleviate the guilt

this kid will grow up normal , right? she will forgive me for doing this to her , right?

I'm a morah/babysitter. It's always hard for a mother to send their child away. I send my kids off too. It's very hard at the beginning for both mommy and baby! If you are nervous, you can check in periodically to make sure everything's ok with a quick phone call or text message. If you have suspicions, pop in randomly.

Yes the kid will grow up normal and yes the kid will forgive you! Make sure you get references from the babysitter and ask all your questions.
The babysitter on my block had a couple of 6 week olds come to her full time. It’s definitely hard but once the child gets older and gets excited to see the babysitter (and doesn’t bother running to you when u pick up Very Happy ) it gets so much easier

If the morah is warm, loving and attentive to the baby's needs, she'll be fine. Those are crucial factors though.

Honey, I sent my first kid to the babysitter at 9 weeks and second one at 12 weeks. We all have mommy guilt but ur kid will be just fine.

My first 4 kids went to the babysitter at 6 to 8 weeks and they are now well adjusted, wonderful teens and preteens.
