I need a mohel who is also a doctor for reasons I can't get into.. does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!

Are you sure that’s the route you want to take? I’m assuming there aren’t too many doctors who are Mohel’s, because being a doctor is a pretty full-time, demanding career with little room for side hustles

I would personally much prefer a regular mohel over someone also a doctor, because they are doing it much more often and have a lot more experience

He’s not in Lakewood, but pretty sure he lives in New Jersey; Dr. Jeffrey Stock at Mount Sinai. He’s a urologist and mohel.

Dr. Rosenberg mentioned above is a pathologist.

Just adding an fyi, I know he is very well and properly trained. I don't know how often he does brissim or when was the last time he performed a bris.

I've been thinking about them as a top choice for a while I was just nervous...Will they have patience and time to explain/ answer questions about the bris?

I used R Nissim Mozes for my preemie. At the time of his bris he was 4.2. He was excellent. Communicated well with the doctors and I always felt that he was super knowledgeable. I work in healthcare and he def knew what he was talking about…

Moshe Chaim Friedman I think specializes in this type of situation. He's not a doctor but he's medically certified.

You shouldn’t be nervous when you’re dealing with them.. they learned from their father Rabbi Mordechai Mozes who has done kneina horah over 50000 Brissim in his life.. I’m not exaggerating..

My son was born with an issue. We spoke to top Urologist and had our Mohel (Nissin Mozes) be in touch with the urologist and pediatrician as needed. BH our pediatrician is very happy and impressed with how it worked out.

Mozes was amazing. He came down to my house a few days before to discuss everything. Explained everything so clearly and confidently. Really recommend him!!

OP feel free to pm me for more details if this helps you...

Good luck!
