Were driving to lake george from lakewood is there any nice picnic parks on the way that we can stop by to eat? Anyone done this before?

There’s Washington Park in Albany that is on the way, but closer to Lake George then to Lakewood.
We stopped for breakfast at a cafe in Monroe.

Thanks just looked up the park looks very close to lake george like 20 minutes from our destination any one else might know something?
