I have a seventh grade and an eighth grade who do not have jobs for two weeks. It's a very stressful situation and I'm trying to give them a good time for these 2 weeks. Last week I took them swimming, boating, and hiking. They went to evergreen shopping center on their own.
They are doing lots of things at home, like making their own chopped competition and playing basketball, but they really need to get out often.
What other ideas of outings are there for next week- especially since it's supposed to be raining at the beginning of the week? The cheaper the better.
We are in Monsey.

Would they enjoy a thrift shop?
Take them to buy school supplies at walmart/ target?
Buying uniforms?
