My child is on antibiotics and anti inflammatories on and off for the past year.
I would like to go the natural route.
Who can help guide me?

I learned the ropes from books and facebook support groups. There are also specialists who do this, ranging from functional, integrative drs, naturopaths, homeopaths, nutritionists etc.

I can try to help you here. There are so many variables and I don't have any credentials other than a fellow mom in the trenches. Though I have been doing this for many years.

There are a couple of simple protocols I can share if you want.

A really effective, simple herbal protocol from the master herbalist Stephen buhner:

Cryptolepis
Chinese skullcap
Kudzu

You can get these tinctures from woodland essence. Look for glycerite as opposed to alcohol, it will taste better and be easier to give to a child

There's more, let me know if you're interesred

What amounts would you give from these herbs? Once daily?
The kudzu I don’t see the one that says glycerite only the KUDZU ROOT EXTRACT

Ok so kudzu might not be available in a glycerite.

You can check if they have "calm the cascade" in a glycerite. It would replace the kudzu and the Chinese skullcap.

Or you can get the kudzu in the standard tincture. If your child has a very hard time with it, there are ways to prep it so that some of the alcohol evaporates off.

Dosing is very individual, though I find we need fairly high doses to see good effects. How old is your child and how much do they weigh?

Are you interested in hearing about diet changes?

If you know which infections you have going on and more specific symptoms you're dealing with I can try to make some more targeted suggestions.

One of our most effective interventions are magnesium and Epsom salt footsoaks. One cup each in a basin with warm water to cover ankles. Soak for 20-30 minutes 3-4 times a week. Amazing for opening cellular detoxification pathways and for calming the nervous and immune systems.

Is homeopathy something you'd be interested in pursuing?

There's also a treatment called LDN (low dose naltrexone) It's be prescription but it's fairly inexpensive to get and is very safe. It works on the immune system to modulate it so it doesn't overreact.
