Doesn’t have to be tried and true, just ones you liked
1. Never tell your daughter when she puts on makeup that she looks so pretty. Tell her she looks so fancy. She can choose to be fancy or not, but she is always beautiful.
2. Don’t give long mussar speeches to your (bigger) kids, they know they did the wrong thing. Just say “I know that you know that you did the wrong thing. How are you going to fix it?”
3. Change the wifi password every day and only give it to your kids after they do certain chores. (Not relevant to me now but thought it was an interesting idea)

Put the toys your kids don't put away in "toy jail" and they have to do a chore to get it back

When a child misbehaves, think "do they have to be taught not to do this, or is this something they will grow out of"? It's not always so clear cut, but not everything has to be a teaching moment.
