Can someone please explain what these places are all about? Are they different? One inside the other? I’m just not getting a clear picture. Which of these is modern orthodox - (but to the right of MO), good for families - parents in their 40s- with teenage kids and younger , Have nice houses , and access to good schools with large Anglo populations . Any info would be helpful. I know there have been many threads about this- but I’m wanting more clarification. I’m also wondering about the new development in Eden hills . Thanks in advance !

Both mem shalosh and ramat shilo fit your description very well. I am not familiar with ganei haela. Is that also in RBS?

I think Ganei Haela is Rabbi Dovid Gottlieb's community.
It's worth noting that these neighborhoods are pretty small, and, while of course it's very important who your immediate neighbors are, all of rbs shares community resources so there is definitely overlap between the neighborhoods.

Ganei ha'ela is in mem3. It just refers to the very small (like 2 blocks) development of specific houses built by one builder.
Mem3 and ramat shilo are very close to each other. Both have large homes and access to any and every school in the entire city of Bet shemesh.
Both are majority DL (all iterations) and are welcoming and friendly. Full of families in their 40s with school age kids.

Mishkafayim is another little neighborhood near mem shalom. Sheinfeld is further. It's a small neighborhood bordering on RBS bet.

Mishkafayim is a much larger neighborhood on the outskirts of RBS A, not far from Mem3.
Bigger mix of Israelis and Anglos.
Sheinfeld is bordering RBS B. Mostly Anglo neighborhood in old Bet Shemesh.

Sheinfeld is mostly houses in old bet shemesh and isn't near much public transportation. It's the least accessible and your kids schools will probably be far away.
It also leans more to the left

Mishkafayim might be technically part of aleph but the way it's built is very isolated from the rest of the neighborhood. It's also very much a bedroom community only. There is practically zero shopping, barely a makolet.

We moved last year (RWMO) and wanted a bigger space. I wish I had considered m3 or ramat shilo. We are in RBSA so very close to both but feel like we aren’t part of a community (too spread out) where people in Ramat Shilo and M3 are. The shul in Ramat Shilo has a welcome committee and those I met that moved there are happy.
You can message me if you like we just made the move last fall similar age and similar aged kids.

Hm, I disagree with a lot of this. Sheinfeld isn't mostly houses. And it's very near to public transportation. If you send to school in rbs then it's about a ten minute bus ride, but there are also schools that are walking distance. As far as leaning left, I'm not even sure what that means. I guess that the DL in Sheinfeld are fully DL? The range is more to the left religiously than RBSa, but there are all types. Anyone who wants me to elaborate can PM.

There's isn't practically zero shopping. There is ZERO shopping.
Barely a makolet? No makolet at all.
We residents were promised a lot....that hadn't happened. Yet it's a super hot neighborhood.

This happens a lot in Israel. Specially Beit Shemesh. I don't trust any promises from anyone ever. It's sad.

I was wondering if there was a secret makolet in Mishkafayim I didn’t know about!!
At least there is a Mikva now.
