I was sorting out clothes from storage and many had shed carpet beetle skins on them. I washed the ones I wanted and put back into storage.
I'm wondering if most others would throw out the clothes or washing them is okay?
(The garlic powder thread gave me the inspo for this, though of course I understand that food is totally different!!)

Wash then dry on high heat. Or dry clean.
Vacuum the area they were found in in very well to a vacuum that has a bag (not bagless!) And after that spray & wipe well.
Keep that area empty of stuff and repeat the cleaning process above every 4 weeks for 3 months. After that it should be fine to use that area again.
After lots of experience and brainstorming with an exterminator and education on the life cycle of carpet beetles, this is my advice.
