has anyone heard anything about this? I keep hearing things about a "lakewood kollel" opening in baltimore but not sure what that means exactly or how it will affect the community

From what I understand.. lakewood kollel means that the majority of couples will be coming from Lakewood. (I think they are hoping to start with 10 couples..)
In terms of how it will effect the community.. I'm assuming the same as any other kollel starting up.. it will be another makom torah.. I'm guessing we will have another 10 kollel couples here.. (eventually hopefully more as it grows..)
I don't think it will have a major impact on the community def not in the beg..
