I have two jars of starter in my fridge. I fed one, then took the other jar to feed and saw mold in the second jar. I tossed the second jar but I don’t know if I had mold in my first since I didn’t even look at it when I mixed it (fuse blew so I worked in the dark). It’s from the same starter batch, I feed them the same time and sane quantities, they’re in the same type of jar right next to each other in the fridge.
There’s a chance there was mold in my first starter. How do I know after the fact if there was?
