My 19 year old high functioning son will have some free time after 1:30 every afternoon in summer.
Looking for some ideas of how to keep him busy without over whelming him.
& feeling productive
I’m always stuck with ideas.
I work jn afternoon so it’s also tough

My 17 year old is free all July and August. I'm having him take 2 online classes but that kills an hour a day.

Is there somewhere he can go swimming?
Can you sign him up for some class or can he learn a skill?
Is he the type that he could volunteer in a nursing home, maybe learn with some of the old men (high functioning means different things to different people- I'm not sure what you mean).
Does your local library need some volunteers?
Does your shul library need to be reorganized?

Great ideas but he’d need direction for them.
He can’t go on his own to these places
