I can't wear them and on the rare occasions I do, they make my skin literally crawl and I rip them off the minute I get home.
Yes, I know I have sensory issues.
That being said, I'm finding that wearing only long skirts and socks really limits my wardrobe options. I'd love to dress more on trend and look more put together in general but most nicer-looking options need to be worn with stockings or knee highs.
Help!

There are knee-high socks, I’m wearing them every day in summer.
Or do you mean you want the elegant stockings “look”?

Same with knee highs. I'm tired of being limited to the maxi skirt look.

What brand stockings have you tried?
I find the L'eggs brand is so much lighter and more comfortable than other brands. And they are cheaper, too.

Wear cotton biker shorts under your tights. Game changer for me! I’m also super sensory and literally couldn’t wear tights for more than a few hours, with biker shorts under I can wear all day!
Read this tip on here last year, tried it out and never turned back!
Favorite biker shorts are the cotton ones from forever 21. They’re very flat and thin and a perfect length.
