so...happy birthday to my two cutest girlies! they want a birthday party with their whole class invited... I have no imagination and no idea how to plan this party. Will be about 25 girls altogether.
Please advise how to run a 1.5hr party. Not lunch time (to keep costs down)
What activities and games do I do ?
suggestions please, TIA!

Pass around the present. Coloring pages and crayons when kids arrive. Popcorn, chips and cake/ cupcakes.

You can do musical chairs, scavenger hunt, pin the candle on the cake, simon says, bubbles with lots of interesting wands etc., chalk and accessories, color your own puzzle. music in the background makes things lively.
For food I would just have chips, pretzels, popcorn, maybe a little bit of candy in bowls plus cake or cupcakes (maybe better to do mini cupcakes and everyone gets a cupcake from each bday girl in a different color frosting)

This is what we do
Activity depending on age - gem art keyrings, colouring magnets, colouring snow globes
Game - pass the parcel
Food - individual plate of nosh, bissli, corn chips and a sweet and the birthday girl cuts the cake.
Or ice cream cones and the girls can dip them in sprinkles etc..
Entertainment - my sister does balloon modelling for the girls or a neighbor does a small magic show.
Time - 1.5-2 hours

Have a decorate your own cupcakes table. I've done it and the kids (young and pre-teen) love it. I bake the cupcakes before. I made my own icing (nothing fancy--confec sugar with water and food coloring) in a few colors, bought sprinkles, mini marshmallows, etc.
