My baby has high fever from a double ear infection. I gave him Motrin about an hour ago can I give Tylenol now to get the fever down? He’s still very warm

Ask your doctor. I was told that I can alternate every 2 hours.

Yes you can give the same exact time since they are two totally different medications and do not interact. However for high fever it’s usually best to do them at different times because tylonel can be given every 4 hours and Motrin can be given every 6 hours. So if you give them each when they wear off you will not end up giving them the same time. If you’d like you can do a 3 hour rotation of tylonel and Motrin, it means you won’t be giving tylonel every 4 hours, but it’s easier to remeber and it may be enough for your baby’s fever.
