I finally decided to treat myself to laser hair removal. I plan on doing arms, legs, underarms and bikini. I called a bunch of places and the prices vary so widely- from 150/full body to 200/half a leg.
Is there something I’m missing? The 3 places I’m considering are
1)Laser off Spa on kings Highway and East 12th.
2) Beabella on Avenue J and East 12
3) Anna Lazer on foster Ave and East 5
Anyone used any?
Also, is there anything I should be taking for pain beforehand? One place said I must use Lidocaine, other 2 places said nothing.
Any advice/recommendations would be so appreciated!!!

Prices can vary depending on what machine they use.
Some places recommend Lidocaine and some places don't, because some people manage fine without numbing cream and some people don't. If you do want Lidocaine, it's not OTC so you need to get a prescription for it. Personally I didn't find Lidocaine to help; I never got numb from it no matter how much in advance I put it on. Some people take Tylenol before sessions for pain management.

Thank you for responding! They all said they use candela machine. I have wanted to do this for years, and want to do it right and effectively.

The plastic seals it in and makes it effective. It will do nothing without it.
I used emla but only on the sensitive parts. My legs were fine without. Underarms and Brazilian I just put a small piece of saran wrap on top of the cream. Your clothing/underwear should keep it in place.

Use a small amount of emla and cover with saran wrap, let it sit for about an hr or 2 before appt. DO NOT use emla on all those areas, there's a limit to how much you can use, can be toxic. I only use tiny amount on bikini area, I find that arm, legs, underarm are not as painful.

No, not package deals. Prices are per session. Only Anna Lazer said 4th session was free.
