mine broke. I have an upright cordless we use for quick clean ups but not easy to use on stairs. I need one that would work for stairs as I have only one carpeted set of stairs, and no other carpet in the house, I dont want to spend a lot. last I had a small bisell zing canister for 4 years and Id do that again except its not available anymore. any ideas?

Try the dyson..it works wonders except that it needs to be charged very often..

I really like my shark navigator. It's inexpensive and works really well on carpetted stairs.
