I'm cropping a professional photo, but the kid's body is not aligned with his head. If his shoulders are centered, his head is slightly to the left, but if I center his head, then his right shoulder is slightly cut off. Which way is better?
Also, how high/low should I position it? It's not a very close cut photo, so I could either have his face centered (from top to bottom), bit then there's a lot of empty space in top. But if I make his head higher, much of his upper body shows.
I'm making 4x6 and wallet size photos.

How high or low: Better to have more of the body than to have too much empty space at the top. The head is the focal point but that doesn’t mean it has to be centered. Everything should look balanced. Hard to answer the first question without seeing it.
