How smart is he? He's always getting frustrated that we have a baby gate keeping him from the computer so he can not touch the keyboard. He can get to about 1 cm from it but not quite touch it. So just now he pulled his little wagon up to the gate, turned it over sideways so it's steady, and is standing on the wagon to reach the keyboard.
Of course this is making it hard for me to type...
Oh, and he's 11 mo, k"h; he'll be a year old on the 15th of Teves; I can't believe it.

Wow, KA"H!!!
Good luck on babyproofing the house... you'll need it! If you're ever MIA, we'll know who to blame.
Lots of nachas!

We used to have a computer program called Babysmash that just put pretty colors and funny noises when the baby banged. We have a Mac, and they're famous for being easily turned on or reprogrammed by toddlers (a neighbor's little girl frequently turns ours on on Shabbos so we'll have to watch out).
Happymom, you'll have to teach her "Help!" or "Stuck!" as her first word!

Kids are smarter than we give them credit for. Isn't it interesting how such a young child can figure out the problem(getting past that gate) and finding a way to get what or to where they want.

elise, he'd be good friends with my ds.
We bought him a kiddy sized chair, thinking he'd enjoy sitting in a chair his size, little did we realise he sees it as a portable climbing frame. He drags it over to the couch, climbs on it and climbs onto the couch and runs along the couch... He drags the chair to the window and climbs on it to get a good look out the window.
Hmm, maybe we should make a playdate for them?

my first born used to take a box drag it across the room
turned the box upside down and stood on it
then he would reach for the tiny nobs on the T.v . and pull on it
he could open the t.v byhimself when he was 11 months old.
