If both yours and DHs fathers did it, there are no grandfathers and you don’t have a rav or similar to give to

You have no one in your life that you go to for a shaila or for advice? Even an older brother or brother in law?

I do but he won’t be attending
Brothers would be tricky between mine and DHs and I feel the ones not asked would be insulted

Your dh!! Really he's supposed to do it but as a sign of kavod he gives it to the fathers. Now he can take a turn!

We have had a very old grandfather doing it, it's a beautiful thing if he's still around. He will be helped by someone near him.

As far as I understand not more than once in the same family. Besides for a Rav who can have the kavod multiple times in the same family. I know a family who has knh many many boys. The grandfathers , uncles , has one time each. The Rav had multiple times . It’s become a standing joke.

If a person was not aware of it, it can happen, that someone does it twice in a family, but it isn’t supposed to be that way.
Any male whom you respect and are close to in some way can do so, or your husband (as mentioned), can do it .
Maybe ask the mohel for a suggestion?

If your FIL was meyushav last time and father was me’umad you might be able to swap this time. Ask a rav.
