I think if you're willing to take the risk that the glass might crack, you can try and kasher it. At least we were told something like that. We decided not to bother and instead just bought our own top instead. Also induction meant buying new pots and I couldn't face that.

Definitely AYLOR.
Many people hold that it doesn't have to be kashered.
Many people I know use their induction cooktop for Pesach just by cleaning well and a silicone cover for extra protection.

I just kashered the induction top and it was fine. not sure how since my husband did it but he aske LOR and it was ok.

Talk to a rav. Induction cooktops don't get that hot: my dad puts a layer between pot and stove whole cooking for easier cleanup!
