My cousin is Rae or Ray, not sure about the spelling, sounds the same though.
Other nicknames I've heard or we have in the family:
- Rachelli (hebrew ch)
- Raychie (english ch)
- Rocky
- Rachi (like Rocky but with hebrew ch)
- Ruchie (hebrew ch)
- Ruchele (Hebrew ch)
- Hully
- Chelly (Hebrew ch)
- Raych (like ray with an english ch at the end)
We ended up giving Rachel as a middle name, so we just call our dd by her first name

My Rochel is called Rochel by friends and family, but my name of endearment for her is Rochelu.

I have a relative who Anglicised her name to Rochelle and used to be known as Shelley in her youth.

I know two Rachels who are known as Shelly, and one who goes by Kelly. (I think both sound very nice!)
In elementary school we had a girl nicknamed Raitch.

I'm Rachelle, pronounced ra-shell.
I know Rachels pronounced with the ches, Rachels pronounced with the ch as in chewy, and Rachelis. I also know Raquels pronounced ra-kell. I know Ruchies and Rochellas too.
