Is the airport a lot less crowded now? How much in advance do I need to be there?
Is 1.5 -2 hours enough time?
I’m assuming much shorter lines.
Has anyone traveled out of the country within the last 2-3 weeks?

I just returned from a short trip to Israel and Ben Gurion airport was empty since very few flights. Few minutes wait to check in luggage, few minutes for security, lots of time to look around duty free!

Yes el Al. No other airlines flying yet… hence empty airport with short lines. That will change when airlines return to israel

Two hours is the minimum check in time. If you want duty free shopping time then make more time.
