How would you define it? I’m curious.
I have an IG page tbat I use to promote my business. It’s in the helping field (not therapy, in case ppl are wondering cuz of the recent topic) so I share a lot of valuable information that actually helps people.
I don’t like the term influencer and I don’t ever want to be viewed as one.
So what is it that makes someone an influencer vs someone who shares great content on IG?

Are you being paid to influence people to purchase items through your account- being paid to present your number of followers with other people's products?

No, and I don’t think I would ever do that, no matter how many followers I had.

Totally lost its meaning. To me it basically translates to clown, or fool, or something in that arena.

"Brands pay influencers to create content that promotes their products or services to reach a wider audience and potential customers. Influencers make a charge based on their follower count, engagement rate, and niche, giving credit to the brand in their post captions, Instagram stories, etc."
You wouldn't want to be one anyway.
