Anyone know a smaller bar mitzva hall in Lakewood? Bnos Devora is not available (for next year July!) We don’t have huge families so Tiferes is so big and will look empty. Any ideas? Thanks

How’s the parking? Is that the one by the library? Is it in the basement with steps? Any elevator for grandparents?

Yes it's the one near the library. There is decent parking and there's parking on the streets. When there is maariv in the upstairs shul, you can compete a little for parking. But I believe it's only during davening. It is in a basement. There may have been and elevator/a ramp going down, I don't remember. You can stop by and check it out.

Ateres Malka is in Moreshes Bais Yaakov on Lehigh (off of swarthmore). Beautiful hall, very high ceilings. Check out the size to see make sure it's not too large for you.

There is a new Bais faiga hall on Park Ave
I made a bar mitzvah in the following 3 halls and had around 130-150 guest
River Terrace
Estria
Ateres Malka (I think the nicest)
Kehal Bnai Torah not big
I’ve been to bar mitzvah in Glatt Ambience also not too big
I’m making another Bar Mitzvah BH this coming year not decided yet what doing so didn’t book yet
I would prob do Ateres Malka again or maybe try another new hall 😆

I had my son’s bar mitzvah in the lower hall (there are two). Nice cozy size, tasteful decor. Food was delicious and they worked well with my party planner. I was pleased. I would use them again if I had more sons.
There is also a newer Vizhnitz hall along Clifton that I’ve been to as a guest. Within the past year and some months. Also very nice.
