Good Luck!!! I have found that selling my junk on Ebay sold faster than my creative, handmade specials on Etsy.
However once you open an account you can join the helpful community where there are tips, Q & A and help...
Etsy is so overloaded with sellers that its not easy these days...

Ok thanks. I have some quality personalized apparel type products I can have dropshipped from China. Worth it to try?

If you have time to spare as a gamble, why not. But I personally wouldn't since these types of products are OVERLOADED there.
Etsy only allows items that are made by the seller and are very strict about this.
