Hi,
I have a vort in Brooklyn tomorrow and need to get a gift. She's my sil's sister and she's really nice. She's frum but not a frummie, kwim? Something funky but useful I think would be a good idea. Dh thought of a platter. What do you think?

I love those new pearl napkin rings, or some pretty oven to tableware,
also, a pretty tinted salad bowl with matching servers.

What's really popular are those Leonardo glass (or is it crystal) tinted all different colours serving dishes- come in blue, red, green, etc. Also, any Alessi bowls or platters.
