I just finished cutting ds's hair, and he's sitting in the bathtub and I'm sitting here crying...bc he's not a baby anymore.
I BH have another younger child, so he hasn't been THE baby, but it's like now's he's a boy...and before he was still that little baby I held a few years ago.
I know this is so cheesy, but I miss my baby boy....

My oldest is going to be 10 in 2 weeks, iy"h. Time flies, soon you'll be walking them down the aisle and you'll be holding they're babies.

Even though we've gone through this a half a dozen times, it still was quite emotional when a big boy's face emerged after cutting off the long hair of my youngest son yesterday and he is my baby. Boruch Hashem for bringing us to this day. Mazel tov to you NotinNJ, I know just how you feel --- Boruch Hashem!!

I'm so glad I'm not a goober for feeling like this.
It's also so great to see the short hair. After knowing his long hair for these years, I keep wanting to look at it and touch it bc it's so new. I feel like I have to get to know him all over again.
Also, his face looks a lot bigger!

The voice is the same but the speaker looks different. Isn't it funny how literally overnight they mature. I don't know if it's because we treat them like their older, or this milestone ages them. Either way, you can't help kvelling.

Every stage with each kid is to be looked forward to and enjoyed. Mamush before you turn around....., they may get bigger than you but you never stop worrying about them.
