my (single) friend's younger sister is getting engaged tonite, and I'd like to come to the l'chaim with a gift or something for my friend.

I know I cant take away the pain she must be feeling of being "skipped" but I'd like to bring something just for her.

any suggestions?

oh, and I live in flatbush/bp and I gotta get it today!!

Depending on how much you want to spend-maybe something nice for her room, or a massage to some nice place, or a good book she might enjoy. Minds blank after that!!

a book is not a bad idea. she shares a room with this sister so I dont know if I would do something like that. also she is not at all into gashmiyus stuff, wouldnt know what to do with a massage and stuff like that.

please keep the ideas coming!

I would take her out to dinner the next night and then for a fun activity like bowling or mani and pedi.
