What are some creative ways you practice reading in your classroom? Hebrew and English.
What are good sensory supplies to have in the classroom for centers?

Tons and tons and tons of books.
You will never have too many books.
Having them read independently, and sometimes reading to them, and doing reading comprehension questions. You can have one basic sheet they always need to fill out when completing a story. Like the 5 elements of a plot.
Don't underestimate them. Even second graders can learn how to do this.
You can label the books with 3 color stickers.
So the kids know which books are easy, medium and difficult, and can choose at their discretion.
