Hi.
Did anyone preorder Rori’s cookbook from Amazon and not get it yet. I preordered but keeps showing not shipped and I know a lot of people that just went to store and bought it. Seems weird that I didn’t get it yet if I preordered.

Pre-ordering in general is hype. It's usually readily avail on prime when it's out. Especially in the Jewish market. The moment their distributer has it avail it hits the stores. They don't quickly peal away pre-orders so they get them first.

Does her cookbook require her mixes and flour.

I think they are just recommended and you can use an alternative

I was wondering about this. I like quite of few of her recipes, and I was thinking about getting the book. On the other hand, if it's just an extended advert for her mixes, which anyway aren't available in Israel, I'm not interested.

I'll wait for it to arrive in the book shops so I can look through it before making any decision.

Does anyone have a review of this cookbook? Are they happy with it? Are the recipes easy with normal ingredients?

I like it a lot. It does recommend her flour mixes, but she says you can use other flours too, which ive done.
Shes very creative, the recipes are not all the same thing with a different flavor. Theyre genuinely different and there are lots of them.
Just realize this is a cookbook that really uses very healthy ingredients in a different way than other healthy cookbooks. Others may focus on carbs or calories-this one is more about less/no gluten and grains, and a big emphasis on fruits, vegetables, honey for sweetener etc.

Do a lot of recipes call for coconut oil and creams etc? I really dislike coconut and the few sample recipes I’ve seen all called for some sort of coconut something.

this is an old thread.
Rorie has wonderful recipes.
healthy and wholesome
They are expensive ingredients.
Baked good rely on her mixes (which are not cheap).
If you can afford to buy more expensive specialty ingredients, her recipes are great.

I enjoy her cookbook. I skip the recipes that require expensive ingredients, there are enough that don’t. Her recipes are delish!

Most of her recipes give an option other than her mixes.
I am grain free and sweetener free. I still use her cookbook very regularly. Lots of great ideas, tips and recipes. It's probably one of my most used cookbooks-and I have A LOT of cookbooks.

I just bought it after asking for suggestions for healthier cookbooks on here, and I love it. I usually have a hard time eating veggies, but her recipes make it tasty and everything is so filling and doesn’t make you feel gross afterwards.
