can someone tell me a program that I can download for photo editing. I want something is not so hard to use. I downloaded gimp, and haven't the foggiest clue how to use it. ive never really done photo editing before, so I might need some help using it, but gimp seems really difficult.

anyone with an idea would be appreciated. thanks.

I love gimp! Why don't you try picassa? It's super easy to use.

They don't have much of a selection regarding options of editing. I want to change the shape of a picture (from square to an odd shape) and there's nothing remotely like that option. THey only have about 5 options.

Anyone know of a program that can "cut out" a shape from a square picture?

Another vote for Picasa.
http://picasa.google.com

It can't do everything that fireworks
or photoshop can do, but it can do a lot.
