It's a video game system. We have one, but the kids don't know (I think they are too young for it) It is more interactive since you have to move your bosy to get it to work.

My dh and I play tennis against each other. My favorite is boxing. It is great exercise and stress release! We've tried other games, but imo the sports are the best.

I have resisted, to date. It's bad enough they play on their gameboys and the computer for too many hours. I don't need another distraction from homework, or reading a book, or creative play, or just about any other kid activity that they could be doing.

The Wii is amazing!!!! It gets you off your tuches and makes you move. My mom promised it to my kids for Chanukah and of course it's been sold out. She finally got a hold of one this week.

I've played (yes, me, at 37) it at my sister's house and had a blast. I played "bowling". It really boosts the activity levels of the kids - don't knock it till you've tried it.

I have actually found (based on my informal poll) that adults like the wii a lot more than the kids do.

well mine should show up at my doorstep in a day or two and I can't wait! I actually happen to have an electrician doing some work around the house and made sure to have DH tell him we need an extra outlet to accommodate the Wii.

When I read the title I thought it was going to be about a little girl asking about boy parts!

Any video game system including the Nintendo Wii only work with a tv screen so no, you can not connect it to your computer unless you have a tv add-on in your computer.
I personally cant afford a Wii and I dont like the idea of having to move your body to play, I have a Playstation 2 that I play my games on. (Yes, I
play my husband doesnt touch it, he's too busy working)

OP, the nice thing about the Wii is that it's a Nintendo system and in general the nintendo games are more arcade style ie less violence oriented so as far as video games go, they're more appropriate.

We don't have a Wii, but we have Nintendo Gamecube wish is the older system and we loved it. DOn't know if we'll get the Wii since we would have to get a TV and we just got rid of ours...
