An officer was just reported as severely injured by a protestor turned looter when he was doing his job. No other information is now available about his condition. I’m keeping my eyes open for the commentary and condemnation that I hope comes. Protestors that are protesting police violence now physically harming police is nonsensical. Thread started to post updates

A cop was shot in Williamsburg last night.
A cop was fired in NYC for drawing his gun after his supervisor was hit with a brick.
De blasio doesn't allow the police to do their jobs.
De Blasio & Cuomo refuse to bring in the national guard.
NYC rocks!

I think refusing the National Guard in NYC particularly was the basis for President Trump invoking the powers to allow for the military to intervene.

Cops are dutiful and committed so I don’t see it happening but I agree the elected would be scrambling. Blue Flu.

I heard that the cops will be taking a hands off approach tonight in nyc. It's scary but I don't blame them one bit.

As far as I know there is not a billboard saying “Kill B*****“. Cops identify as all races, including black. Do black cops’ lives not matter because they are cops? That would mean uniform hatred is more significant than racism IMO. Any other thoughts on this?
