I am currently an early childhood education teacher in a nyc yeshiva for the last 10 years. I’m considering switching to teaching in public school for the salary and benefits. I’m very comfortable where I am and it would be a big adjustment. Any public school teachers, particularly birth-grade 2, that can shed some light on the pros and cons.
