I do . . every year I tell myself I'm not going to, though. But I don't always send pictures anymore.

I quit when a. it became too expensive because the list had grown so big and b. I realized that most of the people on the list were people I no longer had anything to do with except for the annual card. It seemed pointless--if I regularly speak to or correspond with the person, the card is superfluous, and if I never speak to or correspond with the person, what's the point?

If people send us a card we reciprocate; otherwise I do exactly what it says in kitzur Shulchan Oruch, to wit: if I happen to be writing someone a letter during chodesh elul, I close with leshonoh tovoh.

My extended family EXPECTS cards and pictures each year. Even if they don't reciprocate.

My sister's kid's schools do RH cards as a fundraiser. I give them my address list, they send the cards, my sis gets closer to reaching her give or get goal.

Cards...hmmm...how do they get to the recipients? I guess you scan them and then e-mail them as an attachment? LOL

Yep, still send them out. My list has grown smaller though.

I call everyone (or try to!) on my list. I think it's more personal.
