I am renting a brown gown for my brother-in-laws wedding and I will be coordinating gowns for my daughters (ages 3-7) with my sisters-in-law's kids, what colors will go with brown and what colors would be really bad to get? if it was just me, then I would go for brown or champagne/gold, but I may not have choice of those 2 colors if my sisters-in-law don't go for those colors.
oh, and the wedding is in nov.

Pink matches brown, but for gowns matching each other - we wore brown gowns for my sister's wedding & my mother & g. mother wore gold. Any shad of gold would be perfect.

If you go for a modern look, black can go with brown too.
Green also goes.

light blue goes well with a chocolate brown. So does light pink.
I think it's more modern than gold and brown. I think gold and brown is more classic.

We had light pink to accent the brown at my wedding. Was very nice.

I would go gold or green. What shade of brown? More reddish? or more even tones? That could make all the difference.
