its best to wash the bathing suite after each use with plain water b/c it gets the chlorine out which eats away at the elastic on the bathing suite. my kids' swimming stuff is kept at daycamp all week so I can only wash it once a week.

okay the bathing suits will smell in camp unless someone is taking care of them ... and they must be washed after each use or the chlorine or salts or whatever germs they are swimming in will ruin the elastic ... and with soap (otherwise what is the point) and hung to dry ... no heat ...
