I'm looking to buy a suit for Yom Tov for my pre-teen DS who rounded out a little recently and though the jacket and pants fit wonderfully, the waistcoat is pretty snug. (He's already had a number of suits to date however his figure was easier to fit...)
A bigger size is not an option as the jacket will be too long and baggy. For some reason all the suits I've come across recently have short'ish waistcoats with not much 'growing' room.
Any ideas?
Also, do you always buy pants that need to be hemmed or do you go for something that's just slightly long without actually requiring a hem. Just curious.
