Any ideas fo things to do in Cleveland with young kids (besides the zoo or childrens museum which we are a bit sick of)? 7 kids ranging from 3 to 11? over chol hamoed, so a couple short morning/early afternoon trips? what to do on the long Thursday? I need something to do during chol hamoed to keep them entertained while my husband works.

Bring them over to my house to play! Very Happy

How about going to the big park off of SOM Center Road up by Highland for a picnic now that the weather is nice?

Great Lakes Science Center? Planetarium? IMAX (usually a nature show)?
Go out to that farm/museum place I can't think of the name of it but it is a replica of a 19th century farm with demonstrations by a blacksmith, etc.
Jumping Jolly Jambers?

I'm really serious - if you'd like to do something next Thursday I could gather my kids together and we could go together (mine are 3, 3, 5, 9) - our own mini-Cleveland Imamother get together.

The zoo is really nice, Personally, my kids have enjoyed that zoo multiple times. There also was a really nice place where the children created glass creations. Could it have been at the science center? don't remember exactly.

Great lakes science center sounds good and im trying to find information on the akron inventio museum. the indoor amusement park makes me crazy as I find it a bit tough to keep track of everyone. ive never been to the science center, but it sounds right up my kids alley, also lake farm park if its not too cold.

thanks for all the good ideas!
