Clean silver with no effort
My dh was at a client and it was erev Shabbos. She needed to polish some small bechers. She took some hot/warm water and put some Arm and Hammer laundry powder in it. She then gave my dh one of the bechers (she wanted him to see it work) and told him to just put it in the water/detergent. Within 10 seconds my dh pulled it out and it was much cleaner. She gave him some of the powder to bring home and he did his becher and the lichter that his parent's gave me when we got married. It was truly amazing. No effort needed and it was clean. Just let it soak and then wash off. Now our silver shines like it did before we were married. It looks amazing.

Yes, that method works but I believe it has a chemical factor which slowly eats away at the silver and makes it more thin? I’m curious if that’s true.
Have you ever tried Nature bright for stains? It works well in the machine or with soaking, it really does the trick on deep stains such as formula, mud, crayons, etc. and it’s 100% organic, made from natural stuff so your most sensitive skin will not react.

She told my dh that she has been polishing silver that way for over 30 years. She did not mention anything about it thinning the silver.
