No, I pretty much never did. A few people gave us two of the same outfit, but many gave us contrasting colors which I preferred. I did once actually dress them alike on a weekday davka to take some cute baby pictures.

yup...they're still little (under 5) I always did. Soon they wont so I might as well do it now. I like it... it's easier to shop. I just buy 2 of everything.

My boys are not twins and I dress them exactly alike, fro yarmulke to socks and shoes, so if I had twins I definitely would, but its your choice, there are no rules

mine are boy/girl so no----- I've not been successful in finding similar outfits for both genders, keeping in mind that I need a skirt for the girl and pants for the boy.....

when they were babies I did sometimes with the gender neutral onesie type outfits. But I wanted my girlie to wear girlie stuff more often so I didn't do it all the time. Smile

I would dress them similarly, but not exactly alike. Different colors of the same outfit, or coordinating pieces. I'd also want to choose coordinating names, but not rhyming or starting with the same initial.

Dressed my twins (girls) alike most of the time until they started asserting their sense of style. That didn't take long. By their 4th birthday they chose their own clothes.

I dressed mine in similar but not identical outfits as babies. As they became toddlers, I started to dress them identically more often because it was fun. The day they turned 3y they decided they would choose their own clothing - and they have very different styles. Now they are school aged, and have uniforms, so the whole school is dressed alike. On Shabbat they sometimes choose the same dresses, sometimes not. I let them decide.

I usually don't. Most of their clothes (maybe all?) are hand-me-downs or gifts. I only have 3 matching shabbos dresses Smile

But aside for cases where I want to impress people (the in-laws) anyhow I like my girls to choose their own clothes. If they choose to match - great, if not - also great. (They are 3.)

No - ayin horah.

It's not right to raise kids to be 1/2 half of a whole. Raise kids to be 1 plus 1 equals 2!

No way. I think that's nauseating.
When they were infants, we deliberately dressed them as differently as possible to be able to tell them apart. We got a lot of hand-me-downs from singletons, so that was easy, and even when we got some identical gifts, we almost never dressed both in the same outfit at the same time except to take a picture to send to the giver of the gift. They're identical twins and we determined to treat them, and have other treat them, as individuals, not two halves, but if they'd been fraternals we'd have done the same thing.

The only time we ever dressed our kids alike was when we'd be traveling, and then we'd ALL dress alike, including dh and me, usually in dark skirts or pants and T-shirts in some bright color. This was so that they'd be easy to spot if they wandered off, and so if G-d forbid we had to describe them to police, they could see exactly what to look for. We got this idea from camps that give all the kids and staff the camp T-shirt which has to be worn when they go on trips, and a great idea it is. Otherwise, there's no reason to dress multiples alike and good reasons not to.
