Don't have that recipe, what I do is make chocolate chip cake and cut it up to bars about ten minutes before they finish cooking. It is faster and easier than making individual cookies

I googled "chocolate chip cookies for a crowd" and the second hit is what I bet you're looking for, the so-called Neiman-Marcus cookies. FYI, I don't use all margarine but use half margarine, and shortening/oil for the rest. And I use more 3 c. brown sugar and 1 white instead of 2 of each.
