What do you like about it? What brand is it? What will you buy next for a kitchen broom?

The absolute BEST broom I have ever owned is the one that has a zebra design on it. I have no idea who makes it, but I think Table Top sells it.

Last year I shopped at a different store and they didn't have it so I got a different one. Well, that was a big mistake. I should've gone to Table Top especially to get it.

No apology neccessary, BUT, this WAS a legitimate question! Since I'm married, and that's quite a few years, I have not come across a broom I've been happy with and I'm looking for suggestions. Did I ask something dumb like- how many tissues do you use when you blow your nose, or what color are the socks I'm wearing or can you guess what page I'm up to of the book I'm reading or can you guess what color carpeting I have in my den or how many MM did you get?

Why would you think it was not legitimate?

I have squash's broom! Very Happy They come not only in zebra design, but ladybug (red with black spots) girraffe (brown and yellow spots) and prob. others. It's called "not your mother's broom" and it costs about $12 on Kingston Ave. I get a new one for Pesach every year, and switch it to all year afterward.

It really IS the best! Before Pesach it's important to have a good broom.

I love my broom that comes with the dustpan on a stick (hard to describe, something like what a janitor uses)

It's so much easier just to sweep everything directly into the dustpan instead of making piles (which ppl usually step in as soon as u turn ur back to sweep more!) & u don't have to bend over & hold the dustpan! it really makes life easier.

now, mops is a different story- that I never found one that I liked. The stringy one gives me the creeps (& who wants to wring with ur hands?) & the sponge one I like but for some reason break right away!

any recommendations?

Does anyone have that Swiffer that is a vacuum for crumbs and a mop too? I wondered how that would work...

Depending on what floor you have. For wood floors, I use a wood broom, as it's softer and won't scratch the finish. For porcelain, ceramic rough floors, you'll need hard bristles which get into the grooves. For granite the swiffer works as does for wood.

I have the red one with black spots on it, I figured it would just make sweeping a little more fun if I have a pretty broom. I always get compliments on my broom!! LOL (funny, but true!)
I also got mine on kingston last time I was in NY because where I live it's $25, and I really wanted it but would never spend that much on a broom!

but yes, it IS the best broom I have used so far since I got married 8 years ago. I wish they sold matching dustpans tho'...
